The Low FODMAP diet, researched and developed by Monash University, has shown to alleviate symptoms for 75% people with IBS. It is not the only way to manage IBS symptoms but have been suggested to be one of the most effective. The diet can be confusing and complex, so getting guided by someone trained in the use of the Low FODMAP diet is highly recommended. Four Seasons Dietetics leading dietitian Claire Ho has been trained by Monash University on the low FODMAP diet and is experienced in managing clients with gut disorders including IBS.
