Easy and flavoursome addition to your salad, as a side dish or eat it as a snack. Studies has shown that turmeric can have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects on the body. It may benefit people with chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart diseases and also inflammatory conditions such as arthritis. Whilst there are research suggesting it’s benefits, the exact recommended dosage remains unclear. However, what we do know is that it’s likely to have positive benefits if we incorporate it as part of our diet daily.
Recipe:
1 cauliflower about 800g-1kg
4 medium garlic cloves
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 220 Celsius.
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl.
Line a baking tray with baking paper then layer out the cauliflower.
Roast for 25 mins or until brown.
Serve as you like!
