Fees and Rebates
A referral is not required to see a dietitian. Dietitian consultations are eligible for Medicare rebates (under GP plan) and private health fund under 'Extras'.
Payment and Rebates

Medicare: We offer Medicare rebates for eligible patients (Chronic Disease Management / Enhanced Primary Care plans) A copy of this plan and a GP referral will be requested at time of consultation. Up to 5 sessions can be partially covered by Medicare per calendar year.

Private Health Insurance: Accredited Practising Dietitians are covered under 'Extras' of your insurance plan. Please enquire with your health fund if you are eligible and amounts.

Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA): Four Seasons Dietetics is a provider for DVA. If you are DVA eligible, please speak with your GP for a referral.

Payment for the session is due in full at the time of service. We accept Debit, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. For online consultations, you will recieve an online payment link at the time of your session.

​Pension Card Holders receive 10% off individual consultations (cannot be used in combination with DVA). Fees are in AUD. New fees from 1 October 2023.
INITIAL CONSULTATION 185
This is a standard initial consultation. All new clients have to book in an initial consultation.

INITIAL CONSULTATION (COMPLEX) 230
This is for clients who may have a more complex medical history and therefore require the practitioner to understand in detail or elimination diets such as low FODMAP, RPAH that will require detailed educations.

Reviews are important part of your nutrition plan - allows you to ask questions, refine your plan and monitor progress.

Longer review sessions may be required we need to dive deeper and fine tune your plan.

7 DAY MEAL PLAN (+370 to initial consult)
Personalised 7 day meal plan with detailed recipes and grocery shopping list. Allows up to two revisions.

Cancellation Policy

We ask that you please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations and rescheduling of appointments. Cancellation of appointments or failure to attend may attract a cancellation fee as follows:

Payment of 50% of the fee if less than 24 hours’ notice provided or 100% of the fee for no-shows. It is not the practice’s aim to make profits from cancellation fees, rather to make sure those appointment times are kept available for others who need them, and to respect your dietitian’s time.

If you have pre-paid fees for follow-up appointments, these fees will not be refunded or exchanged and your appointment will be forfeited if you do not show or if you cancel an appointment with less than 24 business hours. Make-ups may be available during the week of the missed appointment if space exists.

We do appreciate that, in some circumstances, short notice may occasionally be unavoidable, and discretion will be exercised in such cases.
